Stroganoff with vegetable mignon strips or with chickenless strips


  • 1 package of Verdali® plant-based mignon strips;⠀
  • 1 medium onion chopped;⠀
  • 2 cloves of garlic, chopped;⠀
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato extract or passata;⠀
  • 1 tablespoon of ketchup;⠀
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce;⠀
  • 1 cup of cream or natural yogurt, or even nut-based vegetable creams;⠀
  • Chopped mushrooms to taste;⠀
  • Olive oil;⠀
  • Salt and pepper to taste.⠀

Method of preparation:

In a pan, heat the olive oil, brown the onion and then the garlic. Add the chosen plant-based strips and let them sauté. Add tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce and mix well. In the pan over medium heat, add the cream and mushrooms and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes. Taste the salt before adding it and sprinkle the pepper to taste. Serve with rice and potato sticks.
